The Zapier integration allows you to connect your Zapier accounts to Exclusive Content. Zapier has the option to select Exclusive Content by widget or by source.
To select by source means that the zap would collect all subscribers from all Exclusive Content widgets into one Zapier action.
To select by widget means that the zap would collect all subscribers from that particular Exclusive Content widget into one Zapier action.
Step 1: Open the Trigger menu in the Zap editor and choose Grow as your app. Then, select New Subscription as the Event:
Click Continue.
Step 2: Choose Account - If this is your first time setting up a Zap with Grow, you’ll need togrant Zapier permission to connect to Grow.
Click Continue.
Step 3: Use the dropdown menus to set up your Zap trigger.
First, choose your site:
Then choose Exclusive Content for the Subscription Source.
You can set up by source or by widget. Instructions for both are below.
Setting Up an Exclusive Content Zap by Source
To set up Exclusive Content by source, click the Subscription Source dropdown menu and select Exclusive Content.
Setting Up an Exclusive Content Zap by Widget
To set up Exclusive Content by widget, leave the Subscription Source field empty and click the Exclusive Content Widgets dropdown menu.
A list of your Exclusive Content widgets will appear. Select the one that is relevant to the Zap you are currently trying to set up.
If you have multiple Exclusive Content widgets that you want to connect to different Zapier actions, you’ll need to create multiple Zaps.
Click Continue.
Step 4: Click Test Trigger to test that your selected trigger events will initiate your Zap:
Choose one of the discovered subscription records and click Continue with selected record.
Step 5: Choose your Action application, which will most likely be your Email Service Provider:
Step 6: Set up your Zap Action. We'll be using Flodesk in the following example.
First, you'll choose an app event. In this case, we're creating a new Flodesk subscriber:
Click Continue.
Step 7: Choose your account for your Action app:
Note: You may need to log in or set up some additional settings here. Follow the prompts. It’s different for each application
Click Continue.
Step 8: Follow the prompts to set up the Action.
Many Email Service Provider applications will ask you to verify data fields to ensure subscriber information is correctly passed between Grow and your chosen application, like in this example:
Click Continue.
Step 9: Test your Zap:
Step 10: When the test is successful, click Publish.
