Want to place a Subscribe form in a particular spot on your site, on a specific page, or to swap out a non-Grow subscribe form in your sidebar? Subscribe Manual Placement is for you!
Subscribe Manual Placement
Subscribe Manual Placement helps you build your mailing list while also encouraging readers to sign up for Grow.
You can manually place the Subscribe form anywhere on your post (as long as it is outside of the first initial screenview) and it will display as a Spotlight Subscribe form. Subscribe Manual Placement forms can be placed in sidebars and footers as well!
Functionality & Reader Experience
- Subscribe Manual Placement forms will appear where embedded on your posts or page, so long as that spot is outside of the first screenview.
- Like Spotlight Subscribe, Subscribe Manual Placement forms will darken the screen as a reader scrolls past them.
To Test Functionality: You can Log Out of Grow and view a post in an incognito browser window.
- If a Grow user visits your site and is logged in to their Grow account (HURRAH! Authenticated traffic!), they can provide you with their email address via Subscribe Manual Placement with just one click.
- If a reader is not logged in to Grow, or does not yet have a Grow account, they will be presented with a window that asks them to log in or create a Grow account after subscribing to your mailing list.
