If you are using a non-WordPress website, then you’ll need to insert the Grow Script onto your website manually.
First, you’ll navigate to your Grow Publisher Portal and choose to install the Grow Script manually:
Copy the entire script and place it in the <head> section of your site so that the code shows sitewide.
Where is the <head> Section of my Site?
Finding the correct area of your site to paste the code depends on the platform and theme you are using for your website.
Shopify
The easiest way to add the Grow script to your Shopify website is to use an app to inject code into the head section.
- Go to the Shopify store and search for an app that allows you to insert custom code. We don’t have any specific recommendations, but any free app should work fine.
- Paste the Grow code into the “HEADER” section then click save.
Squarespace
- In your Squarespace dashboard go to Website → Pages → Scroll down to “Utilities” → Website Tools → Code Injection
- Add the Mediavine Script Wrapper into the "HEADER" area of the Code Injection field.
- Click save

Other Content Management Systems (CMS)
If you are using a different CMS than above, then you should reach out to your host or developer for more direction on how to get the Grow script added to your website.
Confirm the Script is Installed Correctly
Head back over to the Grow Publisher Portal and click the I've Installed the Script button. Grow will run a check and make sure that the script has been properly installed. If it is, you'll see a Success message. If you're running into trouble, check out our guide on troubleshooting script installation errors.
