Grow overview - for a dumb beginner
AnsweredSo I have set up/installed grow on my wordpress website. I have that subscribe thing that gets a dark background when scrolling over. Also, I have “maybe” integrated convertkit (but I have no idea what is the use of it, all I could understand is that its useful for social media?)
So what next? I know this is a very question. But for example what happens if someone subscribes? And how do I even know its set up correctly? And where are those emails stored if it even set up properly?
I have like a million questions and the biggest cause of this is because I tried integrating convertkit which isn't as user friendly as grow.
Thankyou for insight

Hey James!
ConvertKit is an Email Service Provider, so you're able to send and automate newsletters and email sequences to your subscribers with it. Their Getting Started Guide should help!If someone Subscribes using your Spotlight Subscribe form, their email address will be added to your Grow CSV file. You can download the Grow CSV any time under Subscribe > Settings.
You can also add ConvertKit Form Actions to your Spotlight Subscribe form. Form Actions allow you to automate sending your Grow subscribers to ConvertKit so they can receive scheduled emails without you needing to manually download the Grow CSV file.
You can test your Form Actions by subscribing to your own Grow forms. You may need to look at your site in an incognito window or different browser if you've already subscribed to your Spotlight Subscribe form; once you subscribe to a form, it's removed from view to prevent confusion. If your Form Actions are set up correctly, you should see your email address passed to ConvertKit and added to the section you've indicated with your Form Actions.
I'd also recommend checking out the Grow Quick Start Guide for ideas on what to set up next!
