Adding the Click to Subscribe Form to Your Site
Step 1: Copy the Click to Subscribe Class
You'll be able to find your Click to Subscribe Class in several ways:
- If you just created a new Click to Subscribe form, you can copy the Click to Subscribe Class from the final page of the Subscribe Wizard:
- If you have an existing Click to Subscribe form, navigate to Grow Publisher Portal > Subscribe > All Subscribe Forms and click Manage Form on your Click to Subscribe form. This will open your Click to Subscribe form's settings where you'll be able to copy your Click to Subscribe CSS Class:
(The images above are just examples. You will have your own unique CSS Class to copy for each Click to Subscribe form you create.)
Step 2A: Add Click to Subscribe as a Custom Link in your Menu
In your WordPress Admin, navigate to Appearance > Menus:
Once you navigate to Menus, scroll to the top of your page and expand "Screen Options."
Enable "CSS Classes" under "Screen Options" if it is not already enabled.
Add A Custom Link to your Menu:
- For the URL field, input #subscribe.
- For the link text you can input whatever you would like to show on your Menu. For example, you can write Subscribe so that the word "Subscribe" will appear as a menu item on your site.
- Finally, click "Add to Menu".
Navigate to the Custom Link section in your Menu. In the CSS Classes field, paste the Click to Subscribe Class copied from your Click to Subscribe form in Grow Publisher Portal.
Scroll to the bottom and click "Save Menu".
Your new menu option should launch your Click to Subscribe form when clicked!
Step 2B: Add Click to Subscribe as an Image
Click to Subscribe forms can also be applied to images.
Click on the image block and go to the Advanced section on the right-hand side of the screen. Then, paste your Click to Subscribe Class in the "Additional CSS Class(es)" field:
You’re done! Your Click to Subscribe form should launch when a user clicks your photo.
Step 2C: Add Click to Subscribe to text
To apply Click to Subscribe's CSS Class to text, you'll need to make sure the text is its own paragraph block.
When you click on that block, go to the Advanced section on the right-hand side of the screen and add your Click to Subscribe Class CSS from Grow Publisher Portal to the "Additional CSS Class(es)" field:
Once you save your post, clicking the text with your Click to Subscribe Class should launch your Click to Subscribe form.
Keep in mind, any element you're able to apply a CSS Class to can be used to launch your Click to Subscribe forms!
