The Link Share Form is a Subscribe Form that appears in the Spotlight Subscribe Form placement (15% of the way into post-content) and/or the Most Valuable Content Subscribe Form spot, giving readers an easy way to quickly save links and email posts directly to their inbox, while allowing you to grow your mailing list.
How to Enable
To create a new Link Share Form, navigate to Subscribe Settings in the Grow Publisher Portal and click the Add New Form button*. This will open up the Subscribe Wizard that will walk you through creating a new Subscribe form.
* You will need to create a new Link Share form to add it to your site!
Subscribe Wizard Work Flow
Screen 1: Select the Subscribe Form Type – in this case, we are selecting an Link Share Form:
Screen 2: This is where you’ll start designing your form and can see a live updated preview. You can toggle the preview between desktop and mobile view:
Here’s what you’ll fill out:
- Form Name: Helps with organizing all your Grow forms. This is only visible to you in Grow Publisher Portal!
- Header: The bolded title the reader will see
- Body: Add any additional details here to help capture your readers!
- Button: The call to action prompting your reader to submit the form
- (Optional) Add a Photo: A 1:1 aspect ratio is recommended.
Screen 3: Congratulations – you’ve set up a new Link Share Form! Click the Show Me My New Form button to set up any direct Email Service Provider integrations and/or to enable the Automailer List setting:
Now that you’ve created your Link Share Subscribe form, don’t forget to set it as your default Spotlight Subscribe and/or Most Valuable Content Subscribe form so it will appear in your posts. You can designate your default Subscribe forms in Grow Publisher Portal under Subscribe Settings.
