Grow's Copy Link

At the bottom left of the Grow Share+ widget, Grow has a new Copy Link feature that allows you [or your readers!] to copy a short link directly to your post and easily share it anywhere.

What’s special about this feature is that Copy Link will provide a Grow shortlink.  

These short links are URLs that are redirected to the full URL on your site. These links allow us to determine if the user is signed into Grow which helps increase value for your sites with Mediavine Ad Management.

How do I enable the Copy Link feature?

The Copy Link feature is enabled by default. Note that it replaced the Twitter share option. If you’d previously disabled Twitter as a sharing option, you should enable Copy Link. 

You can enable Copy Link in Grow Publisher Portal under Site Settings > Appearance > Share Tools. Just check the box next to Copy Link. Don’t forget to Save your changes!

How should I use Copy Link?

Any time you share links to your posts, using Grow’s Copy Link feature will help authenticate traffic to your site. Links in newsletters, social media posts, SMS marketing, or any of the other places you reach out to your readers are all great opportunities for you to use Copy Link to increase your most valuable traffic.
