Subscribe form density

I have my form settings on the recommended setting to automatically place a Subscribe form. The problem is many of my posts are fairly long and its ends up being a LOT of forms. The setting of “one” and “lots” are insufficient. There needs to be an intermediate setting where it is “fewer” or something.
Other than doing it manually on every single post are there any suggestions?

Currently there are no “intermediate” or frequency settings for Multi-Form Density, but this is feedback I'm happy to take to the Grow Engineering Team for you. It's possible we could see additional frequency options in a future update.
As far as how to better implement Subscribe forms in long posts, have you considered a sticky element, like a subscribe banner at the top or side of the screen? You could implement a site-wide sticky banner/flag with a link or button, then use a Click to Subscribe form so the link/button allows users to open a form anywhere on the site.0
