    Hi Gloria!

Grow's Search can provide a more personalized search experience for your readers. They'll be able to more visually navigate with Grow's Search compared to your existing theme search bar and Grow's Search Experience will serve them posts they're most likely to click next alongside results for search terms.

Readers can access Grow's Search through the Grow widget if you don't set up Site Search Integration, which allows clicking native search elements on your site, like your search bar, to launch Grow's Search Experience.

Grow's Search does not conflict with your native search; it just exists alongside it if you have Search enabled in Grow Publisher Portal.

Actually, in my case Grow search causes my header to flicker constantly….and also I cannot scroll on the page. Does not always happen…..but quite often.   When I disable Grow search everything is fine.  I am using the Ivory Search plug-in.

My apologies, Gloria! I assumed you were using the default WordPress search, not a plugin.

It does sound like there's a conflict between Ivory Search and Grow. If you disable Ivory Search, does Grow's Search function better?

Definitely was a conflict with Ivory Search.  Just using the default Worpress search now, and the problem is gone.  One other thing….the images that show up on search are not optimized, but they are on my site.  Anything I can do about that?  Not a major problem, but would help the look of search results.

Glad you were able to resolve that, Gloria!

Looking at your site, it appears the images themselves are very small so when Grow is pulling them into its features, the images are blurry when resized to fit in Search where they're served at larger dimensions than in your post.

I'm not sure how you're optimizing your images, but perhaps adjusting your optimization settings could produce a higher quality image.

Thanks, Ben.  Appreciate any help I can get.  I just use photoshop for my images and then"save for web".  Those are the images I use on my site.

Since you're uploading compressed images, image quality is going to be difficult to control when other plugins – like Grow – pull those images in.

The best way to improve image quality would be to upload higher resolution images and then use an image optimization plugin. These plugins can resize and compress images for you, allowing you to prioritize speed and image quality. We don't have a recommendation for a specific image optimization plugin, but a quick search should turn up several of the most popular options!

Well, learn something new every day….I hope!  So, I have several hundred images, all of which are already optimized.  Not sure what a plug-in will do to those that are already optimized, but will play around and find out.

Thanks for all the help!  Have a great day, Ben…..after all, it is a day of rest!  Except, maybe, for me!

Decided to leave things as they are.  I hate ALL plug-ins….never know when one might change and not play nice with the others.  Better to just have blurry images on the search results….who knows, people might think I did it on purpose.  Would love to hear from anyone on their thoughts.
