Grow plugin causing fatal errors
AnsweredHaving issues with the Grow plugin, but I really don't want to disable it because I should qualify for Journey. I have had the plugin installed for 30 days as of today. Waiting to hear back about Journey, but in the meantime I would hate to disable to the Grow plugin too early, but my tech support says it is the cause of a fatal error and that it is using up all the server resources.
This is per my tech support team:
“grow plugin is one I'm worried about - just tell them that it is throwing an error - and their team should fix it. Fatal errors will bring down the server (for a millisecond) your site will recover, try again and on and on - it will use up all the server resources... you can ask bigscoots about it if you have amore questions. They are the ones that told me.”
Is there anyway to fix this? What should I do?

Hi Brittany!
That looks like a known conflict between Grow and WooCommerce. We are aware of and looking into it, but we don't have an ETA for resolution there. In the meantime, you can manually install Grow's scripts on your site and remove the Grow for WordPress plugin to bypass the conflict. This won't impact your Journey application!

Hey Brittany!
Does your support team have more information on what this error is or when it's being thrown? We can try to replicate on our end, but may not be able to so any screenshots or details would be beneficial for troubleshooting.0 -
Hi Ben, thanks for reaching out! This is from Big Scoots:
Here is the fatal error that we encountered after migrating the site to Bigscoots.

To replicate this error, we just did a wp-plugin list into the server. Sharing a screenshot as well for your reference."0 -

I am also having a similar error, but can't seem to get the manually installed grow scripts working either. Is there any updates on if this conflict has been fixed?
And here is what my host wrote to me:
"I've checked the error logs as you requested and found that the issue was
with the 'Grow for WP' plugin. To address this, I've temporarily
deactivated the plugin and backed up your database. Your website should
now be working properly when accessed from external links like Pinterest.
Sometimes plugins can conflict with other plugins, or they might not be
compatible with your current WordPress or PHP version. It’s also possible
that the plugin is outdated. Since 'Grow for WP' is causing these issues,
if it's a paid plugin, I recommend contacting the developer for an
updated version or further support.
I've also purged the cache on the server to ensure it's not serving any
outdated pages. However, to ensure you are seeing the updated version of
your site without any issues, please check your website in a private
browser window or clear your browser’s cache. Here’s a guide on how to do
that:

Let me know if there's anything else you need help with or if the problem
persists."0 -
Emily Holverson,
It looks like Grow and Journey scripts are active on your site and working as intended! We don't have an update on the WooCommerce conflict at this time.

I installed the grow plugin for wp but it conflicts with elementor. It disconnects by itself and does not allow editing in elementor. How do I solve it?

Hi BARBARA,
There is a conflict between the Grow plugin and Elementor. We are working on resolving this, but there's no timeline for the fix at this time.
You can follow this thread for updates and for instructions on manually installing Grow.
