    Hey Celine!

When you're grabbing your API Key for MailerLite, you'll want to make sure the API Key matches the version of MailerLite you're using. If you're using MailerLite Classic, you need a Classic API Key. If you're using the new MailerLite, you'll need a new API Key.

Here are the MailerLite API Key intructions, just in case!

I think the issue is that I'm trying to use Brevo which is the french version. Is there a way to use Brevo with Grow ?

Brevo and MailerLite are two different platforms so a Brevo API Key is not going to work with the MailerLite integration.

Grow does not currently support a direct integration with Brevo, but you can connect Brevo and Grow with Zapier. These articles should point you in the right direction:

Alright, I've read everything possible about using the API key. I'm using the latest version of MailerLite & it would be so easy if I could connect new sign-ups directly to it.

I got the API key prior to this current try. I entered it & got the error code "Invalid API key." I'd copied it directly from MailerLite, placed it into a text document for saving. Then copied it into the placement bar for integrations on Grow.

Every time I considered doing it again, I see a row of asterisks in the integration entry bar on Grow. But I can't get rid of them. They won't erase or delete. Just a few days ago I requested a new API code at MailerLite. I figured I'd try adding it & maybe then the asterisks would go away. But they didn't.

So the upshot is I can't place an API key that I hope will work as it's updated because these unremovable asterisks continue there on the Grow insertion bar.

    Thank you.

    Hi Karen!

When you paste in your MailerLite API Key, Grow will display asterisks to protect the API Key privacy. The asterisks are your API Key as copied directly from MailerLite.

You should be able to right click and choose select all or hit CTRL/CMD + A in the MailerLite API Key field to select and delete the asterisks to ensure a clean replacement of your MailerLite API Key. This may help with the invalid API Key message, since you could have some lingering pieces of an old API Key.

Once you've replaced your API Key, you'll want to remove and replace your MailerLite Form Actions on all your Grow Subscribe forms. The new API Key creates a new path, so you need to remove and re-add the Form Actions to ensure Grow is using the proper paths to send subscirbers to MailerLite.

Thank you Ben. These details were very helpful. I've followed your instruct & was able to insert the correct ML API, after removing the old one. I'll be testing to make sure all is good.
