How to send most recent posts only

I want to enable the automailer, but the test sample I see is sending very old posts (some outdated) that I don't want sent. Is there a way to just have the most recent posts sent to subscribers??

    Richard Michelli Automailer will include your most recently published posts for the sending period (so if your frequency is weekly, any posts published in the last week since the previous week's Automailer email was sent) and fill the remaining slots with Recommended Content tailored to each subscriber. Every email sent is unique.

    You can prevent specific posts from being included in all Grow features, including Automailer, by excluding them in Grow Publisher Portal under Grow Settings > Recommended Content > Pages to Exclude.
