Subscribe form not rendering
I have successfully connected my Kit account with the Grow dashboard, and once the Subscribe form was active, I wanted to see if the Kit tag was working. However, there was no email field in the form - only the subscribe button was showing. Clicking the subscribe button effectively disappeared the form from the site.
Creating a clone form rendered the same thing, but this time I tried it in a different browser. Both Edge and Chrome led to the same behavior. BUT an incognito browser does show the form, saying I already subscribed. ???
I use the Autoptimize plugin, and based on other suggestions here I included ‘grow’ in the ‘Exclude scripts from Autoptimize’ field in the JavaScript Options section, but that didn't fix anything.
Can you please help me resolve the issue? The share buttons are working fine, so the Grow script is loading, but the subscribe form itself doesn't work. I spent hours on this yesterday, and I just can't figure it out.

When a user is logged into Grow, the email entry field is hidden from view because Grow has their email address stored in the session. It is auto-populated to the form for you, making it easy to subscribe by just clicking the Subscribe button.
After a Subscribe form has been used, it is hidden from logged in users. This is to ensure they aren't confused or frustrated by a form they've already signed up continuing to prompt them to subscribe. The exception are Link Share forms, which allow users to enter their email addresses continually in order to send themselves links to the post they are viewing.0
