Links Toolkit and Unlisted pages/posts issue

not sure if I'm doing this right - I want to use Grow's Links toolkit to create a link to a specific page on my travel blog.  The issue is that the page is Unlisted and doesn't appear up in the “Choose the page you want to link:” field even though I have copied and pasted from the blog post to the field…..   


The blog post is unlisted because I want to make it available only to subscribers AND send a personal email to my subscribers about the new post before the automailer does it's thing. (I would publish the post but then Grow's automailer seems to send out the digest immediately after I publish and I can't find a setting for that)

How do I use the Links Tool Kit to create link to Unlisted pages/posts??

    Grow does not allow linking to no-index posts or pages and will not add them to its features. You cannot use Grow to share an unlisted post or page. This is by design to ensure your private content remains private.

    Automailer does not send based on post publishing. Every subscriber receives Automailer emails at different times based on the time of day and day of the week they subscribed and your sending frequency.
