Automailer email images not links
When I receive my automailer email, the images and blue text are not clickable links. I have to click on “view in browser” . Is there a way to make the images and blue text clickable links to the website?
Thanks!

Hi Richard,
The image, title, and body text for each post in Automailer emails should be clickable, so it sounds like this may be related to your browser or device.
Have you tried accessing an Automailer email in another browser, incognito window, or a different device to click the post links? If you have, what devices were you using and what operating systems were they running? Which browser have you tried and what is their version?0 -
Hi,
in my iPhone 11 using Mail and Safari, the images and blue text are visible and clickable.
However, in my MacBook Air (M1 chip) Sequoia 15.4.1, while the text is blur and is clickable, all the images are question mark icon.
On my wife's HP PC laptop running Windows, the automailer images and blue text are visible but none of them are clickable. The only things that works is “view in browser”.
I hope this helps. Incidentally, our websites are hosted by SBI! (Site Build It!), based in Canada.
Regards
Richard

Thanks for all that information, Richard!
Is this for one or more of your sites? Which sites are impacted?
Are the Automailer emails going to gmail accounts, or a different email service?0 -
Hi, this issue affects ************* and **************.
The automailer emails are going to our normal gmail accounts.
Thanks!

Thanks for that additional information, Richard!
We checked on our end and see post images in the Automailer emails for those sites and the elements we expect to be clickable are (image, title, and description). It seems like this issue is somehow related to your local devices, email accounts, or network. Clearing your browser caches and/or resetting your machines may help.
Have your gmail settings changed recently, perhaps? Specifically the images and dynamic email settings. Do you have “always allow external images” and “enable dynamic email” enabled?0 -
I will check - we have been away for a week, sorry.
Where would we find the “enable dynamic email” setting?
Thank you.

It's in your general Gmail settings.
