Installed Kadence and New Custom Theme and Now Grow Search is not working. Do I need to reinstall Grow?

I recently switched from Genesis to Kadence with a custom child theme and have realized that my search features are not working at all. Do I need to update or reinstall Grow to make it work with the new theme?

Hey Donna,
When you change themes, some selectors may be different than they were on your old theme. While most themes use the same common content selectors (that place in-content Grow features), search selectors tend to be different theme to theme based on image file names, how search is presented on the site, etc.
Updating your Search selectors in Grow Publisher Portal under Grow Settings > Search should help! -
As the article suggested, I found the search wording in the HTML code, and by adding it to the Grow Search Selector settings, it works perfectly now. I did have to log out of my website and back in before the changes were active. Thank you so much for your help. I wouldn't have figured it out without your link to the article.
