    Hi Joe!

    When we've seen this issue in the past, it was related to the site's server denying Grow's requests.

    Can you reach out to WP Engine and see if there are any security or firewall settings potentially blocking Grow? They may need to allowlist Grow's user agent, which is MediavineMetadataParser/*

    I reached out to WP Engine support and it doesn't look like that user agent was being blocked. We did notice that it looks like requests from our site to your cdn are being blocked:

    Thank you so much for checking with your host and for the additional information, Joe!

    I have shared this screenshot and insight with the Grow Engineering Team. It looks like a recent update to our CDN is at fault. They have rolled back the change, so hopefully you're not seeing the Recommended Content cycling any longer.

    They are also currently working on a permanent solution to roll out the update without causing this issue.
