Confused on LinkTooKit, Email Connect and ConvertKit integration
AnsweredHi, so i'm trying to make the most out of monetizing my email newsletter. But i'm confused with all the different names and options.
1) I integrated grow with Convertkit. I thought that by integrating withing Convertkit, it automatically created special links for monetization. Is this the case?
2) When creating a newsletter to my site. What's the exact process to doing it correctly? It's a bit confusing. Do I grab links from the Grow “Links Toolkit” menu? Or is simply creating the links from ConvertKIT enough since it's already integrated with Grow? Or do I grab links from the Grow widget inside the URL?
3) And there is something called Email Connect. How is email connect different from the above?
Thanks and if there is a video tutoria of someone doing this step by step, that would be very helpful!

Hey Chris!
Integrating Grow with your ESP just allows you to add Form Actions to Grow conversion tools (like Print Pass or Subscribe forms). These Form Actions tell Grow where to send subscribers in your ESP. The integration is used only to automate sending Grow subscribers to your integrated ESP.Email Connect links are the special links that combine a Grow URL with a personalization tag specific to your ESP. The personalization tags allow your ESP to pass the reader email address to Grow when they click links in your newsletters.
The Links Toolkit allows you to generate Email Connect links by grabbing the Grow URL for each post and appending the ESP personalization tag when you've chosen your vendor. The Links Toolkit in Grow Publisher Portal lets you search for posts and generate multiple Email Connect links. The Links Toolkit in the Grow widget will only generate Email Connect links for the post you are currently viewing. Both Links Toolkits generate the same links, so you can use the method you prefer.
Email Connect links are not automatically added to your ESP newsletters. You will need to generate them in a Links Toolkit and then paste them into your ESP newsletter.
