Hey Jacob Woodward1 - You'll want to make sure you're only installing one instance of Grow. So you'll either want to just use the plugin OR manually install the script in the header. If Grow is not recognizing your site with just the plugin, you can remove the plugin and just manually embed the Grow script.

You can grab your Grow scripts for the installation from Grow Publisher Portal > Grow Settings > Install Grow Scripts. Then, you should be able to add the scripts to your site's header area using the Head & Footer Code plugin.

You'll also want to make sure there aren't any plugins optimizing Grow's script. This can impact Grow's functions and its ability to see your site. You should exclude Grow from any script optimization or minifcation. This article should help:

Once you've manually installed Grow - let me know! I'll go take another look.

    Hi Mary,

I have tried each method individually but with no luck so far.

I have now disabled the plugin and done the manual embed in the header as well as disabling any javascript combination etc.

    Thanks,

    Jacob

    Hi Jacob,

It looks like there are two instances of retrorecall.net in Grow, which is why Grow couldn't detect its scripts on the site. The one under your email address was newer and the other instance had verified Grow's scripts.

Did you purchase this domain from another publisher by any chance?

    Hi Ben,

Ah, I see, I think I may have signed up by accident using a different account and wanted to add the site to this account instead.

Can I unlink the other instance?

    Thanks,

    Jacob

You should be able to delete the site by logging into Grow Publisher Portal with your other email address. The delete option should be available under Grow Settings > Advanced.

Once that's done, Grow should be able to verify the domain under your new account.

To adjust account owners in the future, you're able to add additional users to a site in Grow Publisher Portal under the User Permissions tab!
