    Hi Marissa!

You are able to exclude specific posts from appearing in Grow features, including Automailer emails. This article can help: How to Exclude Posts from Automailer

Ah yes, thank you so much!

I thought I had seen this somewhere before and could not for the life of me find it again. Thanks for the fast support, Ben! 👍🏻

Support Okay so very ironically, just 8 hours after asking this question, I received an automailer email that included 3 blog posts from the exact page I have excluded under Recommended Content > Pages to Exclude.

I had actually added the page to the excludes section some time ago, not today,  but didn't realize that was also supposed to impact automailer when I asked the original question above.

But now I'm curious how the posts got sent out when they were definitely on the excludes list already and if there could be a bug? 🤔

    Thanks! ☺️

There is only one exclusion in your Recommended Content settings currently:

When you excluded posts or pages previously, did you scroll down and click Save Changes in the bottom right corner? You'll need to do that every time you exclude a page to ensure the exclusion is put into effect.

Yes! Thanks for this suggestion. This excluded page is a feed of blog posts tagged style. I added this feed page originally because when I searched for the specific posts they didn't appear in the search results  and unfortunately it seems you can't just enter a specific URL.

I just went back in and I was able to search and find some of the posts in the search results to individually exclude, but not all of them.

Curious, is it possible that only pages indexed by google show in the search results for excluded pages?
Because the posts that emailed, and that showed up just now in search results for excluded pages, were actually just indexed on google today as well. 🤔

Yes, Grow does not create post bookmarks for posts that cannot be indexed. Marking posts as “noindex” will prevent Grow from serving them.

If you change a post that could be indexed previous to noindex, you'll want to clear your cache and any caching plugins, then go to Grow Publisher Portal > Grow Settings > Recommended Content and click the Refresh Posts button. This should remove those posts from Grow features.
