Metadata being pulled from a different site into our grow search box and when sharing posts via social media apps with URL
AnsweredHi,
Our site has the Grow search page integrated. When pulling it up (even before searching for anything) the recommended content shows one post but it is CNN.com url with a random article from them. When you click it, it takes you to various posts on our website. Additionally, the same article title and CNN.com site shows up anytime we copy the URL from our site to a social media app. I contacted our host and was told this is being pulled from the grow plugin and to reach out to Grow. I was originally told by a mediavine specialist to clear my sites cache, go into the recommended section in the plugin and refresh posts to fix it but that did not clear this out. They provided this website to get further assistance. Thank you.

Hi Elizabeth,
It looks like your site's OpenGraph meta data points to a syndicated post from CNN.com:
This is the data Grow uses to create post bookmarks and is the data used for social sharing to sites like Facebook.
I'm not sure how you're outputting OpenGraph meta data on your site, but most publishers use an SEO or social sharing plugin – like Hubbub or Yoast – to do this. Checking your social sharing or SEO plugin's meta data output settings should help.
Once you've sorted your OpenGraph meta data output, clearing your site's cache and any caching plugins and refreshing posts again should resolve this. Grow will not be able to pull different meta data or create post bookmarks for your site until each post has unique OpenGraph meta tags.
