MC to Kit Conversion: Adjusting Email Connect Links
AnsweredIn process of switching from MC to Kit. Previously, I made all of my MC emails (sequences, automations) use Email Connect style links, where relevant. Obviously, these links need to be updated to work best with Kit. As I understand it, per the help article I read, I want to use Email Connect links in conjunction with turning on the hashed subscriber option in the Kit Settings. My questions are:
- Am I right and what else do I need to know to do this correctly?
- Do I also turn on “Add subscriber_id parameter in email links” in Kit?
- Unless, I add other optional parameters via my Grow Links Toolkit, I will simply be adding the Grow URL with {{ subscriber.email_address }} added to the end (e.g.: https://urls.grow.me/nXe0kK3dx/e/{{ subscriber.email_address }})
- Will #2 and #3 conflict?
Think that's it….for now. TIA

Hi Jim!
You're correct; we recommend using Email Connect links in conjunction with Kit's hashed subscriber emails setting. There's no additional information or steps required! You do not need to turn on the “Add subscriber_ID parameter in email links” setting in Kit, but you're able to if you would like. It does not conflict with Email Connect links.
As long as you're using the Kit formatting for Email Connect links, you're all set! You can easily generate those by searching for posts and selecting Kit, then clicking the Copy Link button in Grow Publisher Portal's Links Toolkit!

Thanks, Ben. Just wanted to be sure before I dove into my 52-email, year-long Welcome Series!
