Issue with Script Connectivity on My Website
AnsweredDear Grow.me Support Team,
I hope this message finds you well.
I am experiencing an issue with the Grow.me script not connecting to my website. Despite placing the script correctly within the <head>
section of my WordPress site, the script does not load, and I am unable to see the expected functionality.
I have already verified the following:
- The script URL is accessible in the browser.
- The code is correctly placed after
<?php wp_head(); ?>
in my WordPress theme. - I have cleared the cache and deactivated other plugins to rule out conflicts.
- My site is using HTTPS and there are no mixed content issues.
Could you please assist me in troubleshooting this issue or confirm if there are any ongoing problems with the Grow.me service?
Thank you for your support.
Best regards,
-
We do not recommend manually installing Grow's scripts on WordPress sites unless you are using Elementor, which conflicts with the Grow plugin. This article can help you install Grow via the plugin.
If you insist on manually installing Grow's scripts, there are three standard implementations: the Head & Footer Code plugin, Trellis Hooks (if you are using the Trellis theme framework), or Genesis Hooks (if you are using the Genesis theme framework. You can find instructions for these methods here.
You should remove Grow from your theme's head area and use one of the standard installation methods. You will likely need to clear your site's cache and any caching plugins after doing this.
If you're still having issues after adjusting your Grow installation, it's likely a conflict with an optimization plugin or security setting. This article details known conflicts and other common issues and can help you resolve them.
