    Hi Michelle,

It looks like Grow's scripts are being deferred on your site; if you search “data-grow-initializer” when viewing your site's source, you'll see “defer” inside the script tag. It is still likely Litespeed Cache, since I don't see any other optimization plugins at play. This javascript deferral is pulling Grow out of the <head> section where it should be installed and causing connectivity issues.

You may need to double check that your Litespeed Cache optimization settings are excluding Grow and, if they are set up properly, reach out to Litespeed Support for more assistance.

Also, clearing all site caches, including the serverside caching, could help! Your host should be able to assist with that.

Let me know how that goes!

Thanks Ben.  Litespeed has suggested I should “ go to Page Optm -> Tuning -> JS exclude , JS defer/delay exclude , add its file path or string , into the fields , purge all”

I added grow as per another thread I read in these fields but what would be the file path or string?

    Hi Ben

I have subsequently disabled Litespeed as my helpdesk host has suggested and tried to add the ad scripts again but continue to have the same issues as before. These are:

    1. I am continuing to be logged out by the Grow plugin in WordPress despite having the same email address associated with WordPress and Grow

    2. The grow dashboard is saying I am not running an updated version of the plugin when I think I am - version1.3 is installed

    3. When I click in the grow dashboard to enable ads it logs me into my WordPress dashboard instead of directing me to the grow plugin so I am unable to follow the subsequent steps as per the instructions.

I have tried deleting and reinstalling the plugin, and clearing data and I ma not sure what else to try so any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks

    Michelle

    Hi Michelle!

You should only need to add “grow” to your exclusions sections to prevent Grow's scripts from being optimized, deferred, or minified in the event you decide to re-enable Litespeed.

I do see Grow loading on your site as intended now and it looks like Grow Publisher Portal is showing your site is connected! If you're not seeing your site's connected under Grow Settings > Install Grow Scripts, logging out of and back into Grow Publisher Portal could help.

Since Grow's connected, this thread in the Journey Community could help you complete your ad installation. The Journey Community is the best place to post questions, concerns, or to ask for troubleshooting help with Journey ads. The Journey Team's engineers should be able to help you set things up!
