Can't get past connectivity issue
AnsweredI've tried everything in the We're Having Trouble Seeing You Script FAQ'ss, checked thru all of the conflicts and compatibilities items, and contacted siteground . They checked it out and said to contact mediavine with the following:
---------
"Yes, we do have a Firewall and also additional protection mechanisms on our server which are protecting your website.
However, none of these are preventing the requests from Grow and their user agent from reaching your website, if that was the case, their requests would receive 4xx HTTP response codes instead of 301 and 200.
Regarding whitelisting user agents within our protection mechanisms, I am afraid that this would not be possible due to security reasons, however, as the requests in question are not being blocked/stopped this action would not be required.
I have checked on the access logs of your website again, and the latest requests from MediavineMetadataParser were made just a few minutes ago and they still towards a cache buster:
support@gtxm1118.siteground.biz:~$ cat /usr/local/apache/domlogs/cobberson.com | grep -i 'MediavineMetadataParser' | tail -2

It is possible that Grow are intentionally making the requests towards this, however, since we are not familiar with their setup it would be best to discuss this with them further and notify us if they require any changes from our end."

I don't know what to do now.

Hi Kym!
It looks like SiteGround is potentially combining your site's javascript using the SG Optimizer plugin and that could be preventing Grow from seeing your site.
If that setting is enabled, can you try disabling it and clearing your cache, then see if Grow connects?

Yay! That worked, thank you so much Ben!

I had this exact issue also! Followed the above instructions and Grow connected. It was located in my Siteground SPeed optimizer, under frontend (Java script!) Thanks
